GOOD EVENING,

It's almost a year since I started this blog.  So much has happened.

First, my little granddaughter, Delainey Belle, went home to Jesus on October 16, 2012.  She was 23 months and 1 day old.  My first post tells about her being born with Trisomy 18.  Needless, to say my heart is aching.  She was such a JOY!  She is forever in my heart.

We've been in our current home 6.5 years now.  Still so much to do, and it's a new house.  But, I mistakenly moved everything with us and now have the daunting task of going through a multitude of boxes!!!  I tried to do 40 boxes in 40 days (for Lent), but that got interrupted after 6 days with a vacation trip to Tuscon, AZ.  Did I come back and jump right in again?  NO!  But, I am determined to declutter and simplify my home this year!

So looking forward to gardening this Spring and Summer.  Going to start a little garden for my sweet Delainey.  It will be in the southeast corner of our backyard where this is already a Japanese Maple tree and about 4-5 hydrangea bushes.  I will take pictures and post as it progresses.

Please leave comments if you wish.  I would like to hear from you.

Susan

  1. Planting a new garden is so healing to the soul. I can't tell you how many times I have found that God uses the process to nurture my heart.
I hope you too find joy and blessing in your new garden, Susan!
